The Grozelle Family
Fred and Cora Grozelle (Farrell) with their children Rich, Verne, Viley, and Keith
Hello there and Welcome!
I am excited to share with you the rich and fascinating history of our family. Through text, videos, and photographs, my aim is to bring our family’s story to life and create a platform for communication and connection.
Your feedback is invaluable in helping me piece together the puzzle of our family history. Please feel free to reach out to me via email or by completing the form on the contact page. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for visiting our family history website. I hope that it serves as a reminder of the love, strength, and unity that binds us together as a family. Together, let us celebrate our past, embrace our present, and inspire future generations with the stories of our ancestors.

I believe that family history is a collaborative effort, and I invite all family and friends to participate in this journey. I encourage you to add your comments, share additional photographs or videos, and contribute your own stories to enrich our family’s narrative.

My Focus is on The Past Generations
Our Family begins with the marriage of John D. Brown to Anne Brownlee October 21, 1839, in Pontiac Clarendon Quebec.
Below you will meet 2 rows of ancestors. The first row is pictures of Anne Brownlee and John D. Brown (sitting).
Row two pictures are of Francis Armstrong right from Ireland. Next are Jane Anne and Antoine Grozelle, followed by the Farrell family – Richard Farrell our great, great grandfather, his wife Moore, they are posing with Fredrick Louis Grozelle their son-in-law. Fredrick married their daughter Cora Lulu.

View the historical pictures as you move through the website.

There are a number of very ancient photographs, some are even tintype that I have scanned and have scattered at various places on the site. These photos were given to me by Sophia Maye McLean (Eades). She was my mother’s cousin, Pearl Grozelle (Armstrong).
These memories will be presented through videos, slideshows and photographs. Don’t be surprised if you see yourself in any of these especially if you have spent any time at our camp at Batchewana Bay. You may be smelling the aroma of the boiling maple syrup or strolling the beach, or sitting by a bonfire, or canoeing or sailing on Lake Superior.
Family events also provide opportunities to be seen, such as Christmas, New Years visits, weddings, and anniversaries.
You may also enjoy videos depicting our visits to South Africa, New Zealand, Europe or our cruise from Venice to Turkey.
With your help I want to bring alive our ancestors. I would like you to share your photos and memories, so I can put them up on the site.

By the time you finish exploring the site you will have an introduction to people and events that are new to you. You will have learned about your ancestors, as well as your present day, aunts, uncles and cousins.
This is the album where the pictures were taken from for our Brown ancestors. It was given to me by Sophia Maye McLean (Eades) Pearl Grozelle (Armstrong’s) cousin.
I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN OUR GENERATION!
