FIRST MEET THE
FAMILIES OF OUR PAST
Hello there and Welcome!
Your Historical Journey Starts Here!
View a short video of our ancestors John D. Brown and his wife Anne Brownlee and a few of their 12 children. These photos are from the 1800’s. The pictures are in their original black and white colour. A couple were actually tintype photos.
I hope this short video incites you to open more pages to learn more about the history of our family.
VIDEO IN COLOUR: Meet the Brown Family again only in colour. The pictures in this video have been enriched and colourized. The 12 children are shown in their birth order.
I am excited to share the rich and fascinating history of these families. I will show you how the Brown family united the Armstrong family and the Grozelle family united the Farrell family and the Armstrong family.
The family histories being shared are:
The Browns, the Armstrongs, the Farrells and the Grozelles.
Click the button below to see more videos. There is a video of each family and in colour.
My aim is to bring these families stories to life to share with my immediate family and any cousins or other relatives who want to hear their ancient stories.
The use of text, videos, slideshows, photographs and old documents are used to tell their stories. These materials are from the 1800s. As well as from more recent family photographs and documents.
I have begun by introducing you to our great, great grandparents John D. Brown and his wife Anne Brown (Brownlee) and their 12 children.
